I am typing this on the Sunday before. It is early and no one is around. The building smells “new”. O.K. it is not the “new car” smell, but it is the smell of floor sealer and wax that I smell. It is “new” because every year for the last 18 years that is the smell I associate with the preparation for the new school year!
